We are just 24 days away from the TxSGS 2016 Family History Conference being held at the end of this month. We’re excited to host everyone in Dallas for several days of genealogy instruction, sharing and fun.
As we get closer to the conference, there are a couple of updates to share. One is that hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza are filling up fast. We have contracted with the hotel to expand our block size but we still anticipate reaching capacity. It is recommended that attendees who are choosing to stay in the conference hotel to book in advance of the 15 October cutoff date. More details about the hotel and the hotel registration portal may be found on our conference venue and lodging page: https://www.dev.txsgs.org/conference/lodging/.
The other item to note is that there have been a few changes made to the daily schedule. Due to various space planning needs, Friday morning’s General Sessions have been moved to Saturday and Sunday while the displaced Breakout Sessions from those time slots have been moved to Friday morning. All of the original content remains; some of it is just shifted into a different time slot.
The final conference schedule overview may be found on the TxSGS conference schedule page: https://www.dev.txsgs.org/conference/schedule/. Details of each day’s session schedule may also be found on the links on that page.
If you have not yet registered for the conference and its workshops and banquet, seats are filling fast. Pricing and registration links are all listed on the conference registration page: https://www.dev.txsgs.org/conference/registration/.
We look forward to seeing you in just a few weeks in Dallas!
