Stirpes March 2018 Issue Released

TxSGS’s latest issue of Stirpes, the Journal of the Texas State Genealogical Society, recently went out this month to all TxSGS members and subscribing libraries.

With an emphasis on “Photographs, Postcards, and More,” the March 2018 issue of Stirpes is packed with research articles, partner society and TxSGS news, and more. Almost like a time machine, photos transport us to a moment in our ancestors’ lives that leaves us with a sense of wonder. In addition to articles related to research experiences, family stories and historic photograph treasures, this issues also includes an article on DNA chromosome mapping, book reviews, an index to the N. H.. Rose Photographic Collection, and more.
